2016 - 2021

University College London

Ph.D. in Computer Science

Supervisors: Prof. Jun Wang (primary)

                     Prof. John Shawe-Taylor

Ph.D. thesis: Many-Agent Reinforcement Learning

I obtained my PhD degree during working as an ML research scientist/manager at AIG and Huawei UK. My research focus is on multi-agent deep reinforcement learning, a joint area of reinforcement learning, game theory, and deep learning.

I contribute to the research community by publishing peer-reviewed research papers, and by consistently serving as reviewers at top venues including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, JMLR, IEEE Trans. on Cybernetics, IEEE Trans. on Neural Network & Learning System.

2013 - 2014

Imperial College London

M.Sc. in Science (Quant. Biology/Biostatistics)

Distinction (top 2 in class). Master thesis was advised by Dr. James Rosindell and Dr. Dan Reuman on understanding the population dynamics of animal migrations, which enlightened the first publication for my Ph.D. study.

2009 - 2013

University of Science and Technology of China

B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering & Information Science (六系)

USTC is an elite university in China. I ranked 3rd in GaoKao among those who were admitted by USTC from my province. During my undergraduate time, I earned several small yet fun awards ☺:
