Principal Research Scientist, Huawei U.K.
I am the techlead of multi-agent learning at the Decision Making and Reasoning Lab of Huawei Noah's Ark (a.k.a AI Lab). We work on various projects that require multi-agent techniques, including autonomous driving and network control.
At Huawei, I won multiple awards: Huawei Future Star 2019, Best Technology Breakthrough Award 2020, Bacon Prize 2020.
11/2015 - 04/2019
Senior Manager in Machine Learning, AIG
I led a thread of machine learning research force at the Science department of AIG, a Tier-1 organisation reporting to CEO. I was one of the youngest senior manager at AIG worldwide when promoted.
My mandate was to develop AI-powered modelling innovations for insurance-related problems including auto policy pricing, distribution modeling, client risk profiling, asset allocations. Our work consistently got exposed at NIPS and ICML workshops.
10/2014 - 10/2015
Quantitative Analyst, London Capital Group
This was a research project sponsored by LCG and the EPSRC funding from the UK government. Its aim was to analyse retail traders' trading behaviours on the spread betting/CFD markets, and detect highly-risky traders so as to manage the systematic risk.
My work improved the hedging performance for LCG by 16%, and the technical report was published on European Journal of Operations Research (JCR Q1).
